christianity explored

a seven-week course studying the Gospel of Mark

"The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God" — Mark 1:1

The aim of Christianity Explored is to introduce people to the person of Jesus Christ through the pages of Mark's gospel. Over seven weeks, the course explores three questions which cut right to the heart of Christianity: Who is Jesus?; Why did he come?; and What is involved in following him?

For the evening courses, we meet together for a meal at 7:30pm, have the opportunity to explore a passage in Mark's gospel together for 20 minutes. There is a talk for half an hour and the evening finishes with a half hour of further discussion time concluding at 9:30pm.

Participants are in table groups for the meal and discussion and are encouraged to ask questions however simple or difficult they may seem.

If seven weeks seems like a big commitment, we'd encourage you to come for the first week or two anyway and see if it's a course for you.
