About EQUIP at St Thomas'
EQUIP (formerly known at St Thomas' as "Spring School") was previously held each year on two evenings each week over the four weeks of September. In 2007 we changed the format to spread the training opportunities throughout the year, offering courses in different formats and at different times.

In 2010 we're continuing with our 2-Year Curriculum. As well as offering a few courses in the normal format (with an "up-front" speaker/teacher and course materials) we are offering other training in the form of a special sermon series, "spots" in the Sunday services, course material for Home Bible Study Groups, and an "EquipRead" strand, which will encourage people to read a book correponding with one of the training modules and participate in a discussion group.

Some of the training activites will be offered more than once, to give people the opportunity to choose which date and time option suits them best.

Core subjects which are not offered in 2010 will be covered in 2011.
(The core subjects offered in 2010 are planned to be offered again in 2012.)

EQUIP is for all members of St Thomas’ — to help you in living and serving as a Christian. All members are encouraged to think about which courses would be most helpful to their own Christian life and service, and to take advantage of these opportunities to learn and grow.

More details about the individual training opportunities will be available nearer the time of each activity.
