Home Groups exist at St Thomas' to provide an opportunity during the week for people to meet and learn from God's word. In effect Home Groups are a smaller version of church, where a bible-based foundation is replicated and people are nurtured. Groups also are encouraged to look outward and reach out to other church members and the wider community.

Most groups meet weekly, usually in someone's home, and are made up of 10-12 people. They are an integral part of church life here and people who commit to being members of St Thomas' are encouraged to join one.

Home Groups are an exceptional way for people to grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus as well as providing opportunities to serve. Groups can participate in the life of the church by being part of the welcoming and supper teams during the Sunday services.

Leaders of Home Groups are encouraged to join with other small group leaders at training and encouragment sessions held at the church about four times a year to help equip them for leadership of their group.
