St Thomas' church is located on the corner of Church and McLaren Streets, North Sydney.

Many buses stop near the church (on the Pacific Highway and Miller Street), including numbers 208, 273, and 290.

The church is ten minutes walk from North Sydney Station.

On Sundays there is plenty of parking on the church grounds (enter from McLaren Street, near the church's Memorial Hall). There is also some parking on streets close to the church.

On weekdays there is parking in the Council Car Park in Ridge Street and also some short-term street parking (metered) close to the church.

The church car park is closed to the public during office hours on weekdays.

Transport to the church on Sundays can be organised for local residents.
