St Thomas' currently has eight Link Missionary connections - three single women, and five couples with children. They live on five different continents, and do a range of work including administration, teaching, medicine, and social work.

When a church like St Thomas' has a "LINK" with Missionaries, it means that we are committed to helping to support them financially, to stay informed about their work and other circumstances, to provide other practical help whenever we can (for example helping provide accommodation or a car for them when they come home on leave) and also, importantly, to pray for them personally, and for their work and other needs.

short term mission work

There are lots of opportunities for members of the St Thomas' church family to participate in short-term mission work. This could be locally, around Australia or even overseas. In coming months we'll be providing some information and suggestions of how people can get involved.

local mission

St Thomas' is committed to seeing the message of the Gospel taken to people in our local area. We are currently making some plans which will help us connect with those who live close to the North Sydney area.
