There are several areas where you can contribute. Please let a member of staff or your Home Group leader know where you would be keen to help out.

WELCOMING

• Greeting people at the church door before Sunday services
• Welcoming Newcomers at the Information Table
• Morning tea after 8am or 10am services
• Supper after 5pm or 7pm services
• Having a 'student minister' to lunch


PARTICIPATING

• Praying at 9:40am for 10am service
• Praying at 4:40pm for 5pm service
• Praying at 6:40pm for 7pm service
• Leading prayers during one of the Sunday services
• Reading the Bible at one of the Sunday services
• Music at 10am/5pm/7pm services
• Leading singing at 10am/5pm/7pm services


CARING

• Transport for seniors to 8am and 10am services
• Attending monthly services at Justinian and Georgian Homes
• Occasional babysitting
• Crèche on Sundays at 10am and 5pm
• Crèche on Tuesdays at 9:30am


FEEDING

• Providing an occasional meal for someone in need
• Helping with lunch in the grounds or evening BBQs
• Hosting a "Lunch For 8" or "Dinner For 8" for 5pm & 7pm church people
ORGANISING

• Audio ministry
• Bookstall
• Library
• Publicity
• Operating the PA system at Sunday services
• Helping at a Working Bee (4 times a year)
• Occasional help in the office (e.g. photocopying)


TEACHING

• Sunday School teaching
• Sunday School "holiday" teaching
• Scripture teaching: North Sydney Dem School (primary)
• Scripture teaching: North Sydney Boys' High
• Scripture teaching: North Sydney Girls' High
• Scripture helper
• Bible study leader


VISITING

• Visiting a street to deliver Christmas or Easter invitations
• Follow-up of new people
• Visiting elderly at Justinian and Georgian Homes
• Hospital visiting
• Ministry in TAFE and/or Bradfield College


OTHER
