tom's playtime

children at play: learning God's way

Playtime Postcard
Children are busy learning in everything they do. From the moment they are born their experiences help develop their mind, body and spirit.
That's why at Tom's Playtime, we provide an opportunity for active little people to explore their world, express their feelings, interact with friends and importantly, nurture their spirit.

Who are we?

Tom's Playtime 3Co-ordinated by St Thomas' Anglican Church, Tom's Playtime is a group of active boys and girls – from birth to pre-school age (under 5 years) and their parents, grandparents, other family members and/or carers.

When do we meet?

Every Friday morning 9:30am – 11:30am during the school terms. (see 2010 Term dates below)

Where do we meet?

The Cottage Hall, St Thomas' Anglican Church, North Sydney.

Co-ordinators & helpers

Tom's Playtime 2All Tom's Playtime co-ordinators and helpers are members of St Thomas' Anglican Church. Our co-ordinators are mothers of pre-schoolers and we occasionally have grandmothers and grandfathers helping us out during morning tea.

Our goal is to nurture the spirit of a child through play by providing a programme with a bible-based theme and fun activities that introduce children to the bible and a loving God while also giving parents/carers ideas and encouragement on ways to share the gospel with their children.

Things you should know

• New parents may attend their first Playtime session free
• Parents/Carers are responsible for supervising their own children
