special opportunities to strengthen relationships and hear good teaching

The 10am, 5pm, and 7pm Congregations regularly organise their own Weekend Away at a "houseparty" so the members of the congregation can spend time together relaxing, building relationships, having fun, and hearing God's Word taught well (usually by an invited guest speaker).

Weekends Away are usually held at a venue such as a Conference Centre located about an hour's drive from North Sydney. (Recent Weekends Away have been held at Kiah Ridge at Tahmoor, Crusaders' Galston Gorge Outdoor Recreation Centre, Naamaroo Uniting Conference Centre in Lane Cove National Park, and Rathane & Telford, Port Hacking.)
