working bee

help us look after the property!

Once a quarter (usually the first Saturdays in February, May, August and November) we have Working Bees in the church, grounds and buildings to help look after the property and undertake any maintenance and upkeep which needs to be tackled.

Work is usually carried out between 8:30am and 12noon, (with a break for Morning Tea!) and everyone is encouraged to try to come along – even if just for an hour or so.

All kinds of projects are tackled … from dusting in the church … to sweeping up leaves in the grounds … to repairing damaged fences … to tidying out cupboards in the kitchen of the Memorial Hall. So don't worry if you're unable to do any heavy work … there will always be something light you can do.

We look forward to seeing you at the next Working Bee!
