What we believe

We believe in Jesus:

  • that God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ.
  • that Jesus was crucified and rose again to bring us forgiveness and new life.
  • that Jesus is gathering people to spend eternity with him.
  • that we should share this ‘good news’ in how we live, and share it with our neighbours, family and friends.

For the Theologians …
If you want to get more technical, God bless you!

St Thomas’ North Sydney stands in what is often called a ‘Reformed Evangelical’ position. We are grateful to God for His Word and seek to humbly and carefully read and do it. We are grateful to God for His Son and seek to humbly and carefully trust and obey Him. We rejoice in the unity of the Spirit of God and seek to grow in our maturity, love and effective witness.
